Be part of a new HAMPSTEAD fundraising group!
If you are motivated, have some spare time and fancy doing something worthwhile this year, why not consider forming a Fundraising Group for Cancer Research UK. This could be your chance to put on that event that you have always dreamed of organising, as well as getting to know new people in your local area.
As a Fundraising Group of Cancer Research UK you can decide to organise whatever fundraising event you want, however often you want and know that you will be supported by Cancer Research UK, every step of the way.
So whether its a ball, a dog walk, an abseil, a quiz night, a bike ride event, a golf day or a lunch party that you would like to organise, you could have fun with your friends while helping to beat cancer.
Although survival rates have doubled in the last thirty years and Cancer Research UK have been at the heart of that progress, it remains a sad fact that every two minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately we have to turn down million of pounds worth of good quality research into cancer every year due to lack of funds and so we need to keep fundraising until we have achieved our aim that together we will beat cancer.
